Software Engineer -AI
This role is Office Based, Hyderabad OfficeWe are seeking a Software Engineer with 3-5 years of solid backend development experience in Java and Python to build and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The role focuses on hands-on development, API implementation, database integration, and supporting cloud-based deployments under senior technical guidance.
In this role you will…
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Python
- Build RESTful APIs following defined architectural standards
- Implement business logic and integrate with databases
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
- Contribute to microservices-based applications
- Implement authentication mechanisms (JWT-based security)
- Write unit and basic integration tests
- Containerize applications using Docker
- Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues

Technical Requirements
Programming
- Proficiency in Java 17+
- Proficiency in Python 3.x
Java Stack
- Spring Boot (REST APIs, basic configuration)
- Spring Data JPA
- Basic understanding of Spring Security
- JUnit 5 (unit testing)
Python Stack
- FastAPI (API development)
- Pydantic (request validation)
- SQLAlchemy (ORM basics)
- Understanding of async/await concepts
- Pytest (unit testing)
Architecture & APIs
- REST API development
- Basic understanding of microservices concepts
- Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger
Database
- Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL
- Writing queries and understanding relationships
- Exposure to migration tools (e.g., Alembic preferred)
Cloud & DevOps
- Docker (basic containerization)
- Exposure to AWS services (EKS, RDS preferred)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
- Basic logging and monitoring understanding
