As the Risk Analyst, you will join a team of talented and dedicated fraud experts who play a pivotal role in fighting fraud and helping our customers succeed. Your work will make a big impact in advancing payment risk decisioning to the next level. The right candidate is an experienced fraud fighter with a love for learning, problem solving, and not afraid of a challenge. They enjoy being part of a close knit team and working on multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform investigations of irregular trends and behavior patterns associated with potentially fraudulent or suspicious activity.
  • Identify fraud trends, document and communicate findings, and assist in the development and implementation of new fraud prevention strategies
  • Analyze chargeback data and determine root cause to help identify early warning risk indicators in future transactions
  • Support Risk Operations process and tool improvements
  • Assist our Sales and Customer Success teams by providing fraud insights to help promote customer engagement
  • Communicate with internal/external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bilingual with business proficiency in English
  • 2+ years of ecommerce payment risk management experience
  • Familiarity with third-party industry risk management tools (Lexis / Nexis, PIPL, Ekata, etc.)
  • Knowledge of ecommerce and payments ecosystem in LATAM
  • Experience with data query and reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, Splunk, etc.) and analysis skills including: working with large datasets, recognizing and interpreting data trends, and using data to influence decisions
  • Solid knowledge of Card Not Present (CNP) environment
  • Ability to work independently and seamlessly switch between various projects and tasks as priorities change
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays

Desirable Skills:

  • Data analytics and end user software
    • VBA/SQL/Python
    • Jira
