Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Principal Machine Learning Engineer to help us research, design and develop new Machine Learning (ML) based solutions. This position will lead and mentor our ML engineering team as they research and develop new pipelines to be integrated into our platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creation and configuration of Machine Learning pipelines, algorithms and services to deliver customer focused solutions
- Oversee the integration of solutions with existing applications
- Work with product and engineering teams to design new solutions
- Mentor team of ML engineers
- Work with product management team to develop roadmap of machine learning and NLP platform features
- Review performance of production models and identify potential improvements
- Lead ML team sprint and release planning efforts
- Lead ML ops efforts to streamline the design, development and deployment of solutions
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Proven track record of building and shipping ML pipelines using both supervised and unsupervised learning techniques and incremental learning
- Must have hands-on experience developing and releasing ML solutions in a production environment with real customer usage
- Must have experience with one of the following popular open-source ML technologies: TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Theano
- Strong experience building NLP models
- Must have Python programming experience
- Must have experience using SQL, and one of more databases (Oracle, MySQL, Postgre)
